Origin Story…..
Side One SEA just made sense. Vancouver is 3 hours north of Seattle, and our reputation had started to work its way south. We developed relationships within the Washington events community, often being told “No one in Seattle can do what you guys do.”
That said, with work visas, hotel costs, and all the paperwork required to bring our gear across the border, it quickly became clear that we needed to bring local musicians into the fold. Vancouver bassist Darren Parris was instrumental (pun!) in connecting Rob with Tacket Brown, who helped put the Seattle team together. YVR keyboardist Victor Noriega, boasting dual citizenship, spent quite a few weekends down in the Emerald City playing with the band and imparting his years of Side One experience to the group.
The event planners were over the moon! They could finally have our unique brand and performance quality at a fraction of the price. Side One was now truly an international entertainment company, and we haven’t looked back!
